Being the deputy chairman of HKIE MCL DAP, Barry has taken the lead of assigning assessors for all new membership application in mechanical discipline. As the chairman of the DAP between 2017 and 2019, Barry has also taken the lead to assess the coverage and quality of different mechanical engineering degree programme and decide if HKIE should grant unconditional offer to those the graduates of those courses when joining the HKIE scheme A programme.
